AES Laboratories (P) Ltd, has been in the forefront in organizing technical events like Seminars, workshops, lectures etc., to promote technical knowledge and understanding of services offered by it. Several such events have been organized at National and local levels during its existence. Some of the major activities have been – 1. National Seminar on Conservation of Lubricants. The seminar was organized at Ashoka Hotel and inaugurated by then Petroleum Minister. It was to promote conservation of Lubricating oils. The seminar received widespread coverage in media. 2. National Seminar on Petroleum Oils for Power Generation, Distribution and Transmission. The seminar was organized at Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi and was inaugurated by then head of Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA). At the seminar, the findings of a study ‘Role of Transformer oil in Transformer failures”, conducted by AES Laboratories for Rural Electrification corporation, were presented. The seminar also covered the role of other petroleum products used for power generation. The finding of the study were widely publicized and ultimately resulted in widespread practice of analysis of insulating oils.
1. Workshop on Pollution Control in Haryana. 2. Workshop on Dissolved Gas Analysis in Transformer Oils. 3. Analysis of transformer oils – Workshop organized for CPWD Delhi. 4. Regular training workshops organized in the field so of water analysis and treatment organized for Delhi Jal Board engineers. This program is organized in association with The Energy Research Institute. 5. One of the first laboratories in the private sector to act as a nodal laboratory for carrying out nation-wide proficiency testing programs on behalf of NABL. These PT programs were carried out in the field of petroleum products analysis. 6. Organized a training program in Food Safety and Quality (Analytical Requirements) under the aegis of Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MFPI). This program was organized in collaboration with Quality Council of India.
