Accreditations

NABL

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) is an autonomous body under the aegis of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, and is registered under the Societies Act. NABL has been established with the objective to provide Government, Industry Associations and Industry in general with a scheme for third-party assessment of the quality and technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories. The government of India has authorized NABL as the sole accreditation body for Testing and Calibration laboratories. In order to achieve this objective, NABL provides laboratory accreditation services to laboratories that are performing tests/calibrations in accordance with NABL criteria, which is based on internationally accepted standards and guidelines, ISO/IEC 17025. NABL has established its Accreditation System in accordance with ISO/IEC Guide 58, which is followed internationally.  AES Laboratories is accredited to NABL in the fields of Chemical, Mechanical & Biological Testing.  You can click on the below links to download a copy of our NABL accreditation certificates:

MOEF 

The laboratory is also recognized by Ministry of Environment and Forests under the Environment Protection Act. Under Section 12 and 13 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 the Ministry recognizes environmental laboratories and Government Analysts working in the laboratories, to carry out functions entrusted to them under the Act. The notification to this effect has also been made in the Gazette of India. All recognized laboratories have to participate in the annual Analytical Quality Control (AQC) exercise being conducted by CPCB. Dummy Samples are sent to recognized laboratories and the results given are compared with the standard results of the same and variations, if any, is reported to the laboratory for implementation.

Export Inspection Council of India

The laboratory is also recognized by Export Inspection Council of India (EIC)  The Export Inspection Council (EIC) was set up by the Government of India in order to ensure sound development of export trade of India through Quality Control and Inspection.  The laboratory is currently recognized for milk & milk products and rice for the purposes of export testing.

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA)

The laboratory is also recognized by APEDA which was set up by the Government of India (Ministry of Commerce & Industry) in order to, among other functions,  promote export-oriented production and development of the scheduled products. Some these scheduled products include fruits, vegetables and their products, groundnuts, peanuts and walnuts, Guar Gum, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages and much more.

 Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)

AES was among the first few laboratories to be recognized by FSSAI. The laboratory still is one of the premier laboratories on the panel of FSSAI carrying out testing in accordance with The Food Safety and Standards Regulations, 2011.  FSSAI has been established under Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 which consolidates various acts & orders that have hitherto handled food related issues in various Ministries and Departments. FSSAI has been created for laying down science based standards for articles of food and to regulate their manufacture, storage, distribution, sale, and import to ensure availability of safe and wholesome food for human consumption.  Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India is the Administrative Ministry for the implementation of FSSAI.

Bureau of Indian Standards

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has recognized the laboratory for testing of Packaged Drinking Water as well as cement.  BIS is an organization under Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution whose primary objectives are to harmonize development of standardization, marking and quality certification and to provide a new thrust to standardization and quality control.

Pollution Control Boards

The laboratory is recognized by various state pollution control boards to carry out environment testing.  Currently, the laboratory is recognized by the pollution control boards of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

• Recognized by Public Works Department (PWD) & CPWD for various projects 
• Recognized by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) on various projects
• Empanelled by various organizations like RITES, DMRC, EIL, AAI etc. on project basis.

International

• Recognized by Public Authority for Industries – State of Kuwait under the International Conformity Certification Program   (ICCP), for exports to Kuwait.
• Recognized by International Conformity Certification Program (ICCP) for exports to Saudi Arabia and Nigeria.
